Steve and Trevor are engaged in a general practice which includes probate, business law, and family law but also emphasizes representation in criminal cases.
Both Steve and Trevor were born and raised in Wabash County, Illinois and live in Mt. Carmel. They’re also both proud graduates of Mt. Carmel High School.
Steve earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois in 1979. He served as Wabash County State’s Attorney from 1980 until 1992, Associate Judge of the 2nd Judicial Circuit from 1992 until 2002, and the elected Wabash County Resident Circuit Judge from 2002 until retiring from the bench in 2013. He also served as Chief Judge of the 2nd Circuit during the last year of his tenure. Steve has conducted an active law practice since 2015, and was joined by Trevor in 2018.
Trevor attended the University of Southern Illinois-Carbondale, earning a Bachelor's in Paralegal Studies. He then enrolled in the Loyola University Chicago School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctor degree there in 2017. In addition to his work with the law firm, Trevor serves as Conflict Public Defender for Wabash County.
